Garyn Barnes of Honesdale has announced that he will be continuing his academic and athletic career at the NCAA level. A multi-sport standout during his years at HHS, Barnes will attend Wilkes University in the fall and play football. He’s received a prestigious Dean Scholarship, but hasn’t as yet declared a major. Garyn is pictured here with his mom, Melanna, and sister, Mikayla. Also on hand for this National Letter of Intent signing were High school principal Chris Pietraszewski, head football coach Mike Jurkowski and athletic director Diane Scarfalloto.
